5 Excellent floor Hannes When started the process of looking at floors for my apartment, everything was so confusing. It felt like a lot of floors only had bad reviews. I think that's partly because almost only people who's had a bad experience think of writing reviews. That can make looking at new floors very scary, especially for dark floors where scratches and other damage is easier to spot than on a bright floor. So I promised myself that if I found a floor that I liked, I would write positive review to help someone who perhaps feel as anxious as I did when I was looking for mine. All that backstory aside, this floor incredible. It not only looks very convincing, it also have texture that matches the look of the floor correctly. That makes it feel like you are walking on a real wooden floor when you walk barefoot or with socks inside. Of course it's not exactly the same, but I can't think of any other laminate floor I've walked on that feels as good as this one. The resistance to scratches is also really impressive. It's not invincible, but I feel confident moving furniture around, walking with shoes inside if the need arises etc without any scratches appearing. The only damage I have gotten was from dropping a heavy and sharp tool. Speaking of, if you do get some damage, some black silicone covers it up PERFECTLY as the floor itself already have some very dark spots. I know where I dropped the tool I wrote about above, but even I can't spot where it is anymore after some 5 minute repair with black silicone. The only, and I mean only, drawback is that the floor is kind of hard. That means DON'T CHEAP OUT ON THE UNDERLYING CARPET! I bought a expensive one and I have not regretted it. Since the floor is hard, you also need quality tools. I started out with a cheaper saw and it smelled like something was about to burn and it really struggled to cut. Once I switched to a more expensive, quality Bosch saw, cutting it was much easier. For a laminate floor, it is expensive. It also requires expensive tools to work with and an expensive underyling carpet. But if you have the money to spend and want a gorgeous dark floor, I can't recommend this enough. It truly is better than I dared hope for when I bought it.
